INSURGENCY PLAYERS UNITE!

...for one night of good 'ol insurgency fun . Now honestly, I have not set anything up yet, but it just hit me that I havent played with you guys in god knows how long! One thing for sure, it will be damn fun to see you guys again and go in and kick some ass! I will try to see if any of our friends are interested in a friendly scrim.

Battle Force Party This Sunday!


Our very own Spider Pig has been working relentlessly on a HL2DM mod called Battle Force. It is focused on action packed multiplayer and he is inviting all of TDB members as well as our friends to participate in a fun game this Sunday. Lets show our support for the developer in our midst by blasting away our friends in virtual combat… I mean that’s what we’re all about right?

How to install BFMP:

When you have downloaded Part 1 and Part 2 extract them with WinRar to your "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Sourcemods" folder!

Do you get HL2.exe crash, or similarities like that? Then you should make sure that you have done this/Follow these steps:

- Set your Steam Language to "English" as BFMP only supports this language localization.
- Make sure SDK Base 2007, HL2 and HL2:DM is fully installed
- If the above games are installed but you still are having difficulties then try to right click and hit properties and then click on Local Files and then hit the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" on HL2, SDK Base 2007 & HL2:DM.
- If it still does not work then I suppose that you don't got all the required files, I recommend you to re-install BFMP and make sure you install and extract both Part 1 and Part 2!

Hello Everyone!

In preparation for the server coming back online, please register your Minecraft username on the forums. This will granted you permissions to the server based on your rank.

Failure to do so will give you "Guest" access, which basically means you can run around and open doors.

• To register your name, click on the "Signed in as ..." in the top right, then click on My Profile.
  
• Click "Edit Profile" (top right-ish)
  
• Scroll down under "Other Information"
  
• Edit "Minecraft Username"

More details on exact mods will be forthcoming (just as soon as I get them working and the server stable).

The restarting issue is still uncertain, but I'm looking into it.

Released today, Weebs and I got a taste of the game from a noob's perspective . Like any complex game, it took a while to sink in and get used to. I even didnt get ANY kills in my first half hour of play and we all know that is a clear sign of hell freezing over. But once Weebs got in the game and showed me up with his insta triple kill, I had my pride on the line and got to business!

During the small 2 hour treat of the game, my expectations for this game grew and grew. I still stand by that this game may very well be the successor of Insurgency.

I am nowhere near close to handling the game just yet, but I see it filling up my free time in the next foreseeable future. So what do we say we make a clan fun night for RO2? I say yes

The MC Server has been updated to Minecraft 1.7.2
(includes fixes for Pistons)

Server Changes:


Changes
+ All mods have been updated that had updates (please let me know if any issues)
+ Added Stargate mod - Look it up but now can create portals and instead of ignihgting them can connect them using a posted sign
+ Added properTime mod which has configured the world to run night at 3x speed, with day time running at .25 speed (longer days, shorter nights)
+ Added Quantum Connectors (look it up). Max is 3 connections
+ Fixed permissions in Skyworld and creative
+ creative is now permanent day
+ Skyworld now has biomes
- Removed the Citizens mod
- Performed a bunch of cleanup on old and un-needed mods

Come play on TDB's Minecraft Server!


As of Today, TDB officially has a Minecraft server. Head on over to the Minecraft Server forum for details on how to connect!


The Details
The server is a 20 person Minecraft server. You can feel free to be creative, roam the world, go on adventures, and partake in the joys of Minecraft.

The server has Bukkit enabled and we will be adding new Plugins as our minecraft community wants them.

The server is not a public Minecraft server,it's intention is for TDB members and friends of TDB members.



The History
I started running this server about 6 months ago, and a few members of TDB have asked for details about joining it. This server used to go under the title of 24/7 Snake's Mincraft Server, but has since been renamed to TDB's Minecraft server with the majority of people playing on it being TDB players.

I still have friends (and friends of friends) who play on it, as do the original populators of Minecraft. So don't be alarmed when you see non-TDBers in there. I welcome you to invite your trusted friends, but if any of them break the rules they will be banned.


The Admins
There are currently 4 admins on the server: SnakeG (myself), Sc0rch, Lister371 (Kyron), Bntly (a non-tdb member who has been with the server since Day 1).

Feel free to ask the Admins for help and assistance. But know that asking for items is cheating. And if they decline, please don't bug them.
