Insurgency Is Back!!
Some of you may have already heard that New World Interactive has taken over the development of Insurgency and is bringing to market Insurgency 2.
For the last few months, a few TDB members have been taking part in the Alpha and helping NWI with bugs, features, and general testing. But now NWI wants to rollback the covers and start showing off more of Insurgency 2.
A couple weeks ago, they launched a Kickstarter Campaign for the release of Insurgency 2, and they need our help. Here's your chance to pre-order Insurgency and help the project.
Head on over to Kickstarter and if you like what you see, throw a few bucks there way. $15 will pre-order the game.

Want to Help Out?
The Kickstarter Campaign has less than 30 days remaining to raise $180,000! They're at $37,000 now. If you can, help out and lets get some INS2 action going!
Hell, maybe they'll add a tank that Toad can hide on top of.
... wait a minute, at the $360 level they'll put artwork in the game somewhere. Perhaps a tank shaped like a Toad? We could have something here
Looks like it should be an exciting time this year at E3.
Codename 47 is back in "Hitman Absolution". The game is currently scheduled for 2012, but it looks like we'll see a demo coming out of E3. The teaser is a few days old, but I figured the frontpage needed something more then just PSN
This should have happened a while ago, but I got busy and forgot and ya.
Congrats to Entropic, our new Division Leader for League of Legends! Entropic will be trying to get a LoL team going, and hopefully get some sort of tourney team moving.
You now have control over your domain, Entropic. I wish you the best of luck, and look forward to TDB getting competitive with LoL.
I know some of our members play Xbox 360 and PS3 online, and for those that have a PSN account there is some bad news.
As you may have noticed, the PSN network has been down the last few days. Well, Sony just admitted it got hacked. All of your account information has been stolen.
According to Ars, hackers got their hands on:
- Your Name
- Your address (city, state, zip)
- Email Address
- PSN Username and Password
They also advice that Credit Card information may have been compromised, as well as other information such as Security Question and Answers:
It is also possible that your profile data, including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip), and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may have been obtained. If you have authorized a sub-account for your dependent, the same data with respect to your dependent may have been obtained. While there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained.
What Does This Mean?
It means everyone needs to be on high alert for Email, telephone, and Snail Mail phishing scams over the next few months. These attackers have a lot of information about you, and could make some very real looking email addresses. Always be aware when someone asks you for credit card, SSN/SIN information, and other personal/financial information that you are not expecting to be asked for.
If you use the same password for your PSN account as your email address or any other account, you may want to change that password now. You should at the very least have a different password from your email address. Especially important if your Steam and PSN account have the same or similar name and password.
Sony also advises this:
To protect against possible identity theft or other financial loss, we encourage you to remain vigilant, to review your account statements and to monitor your credit reports. We are providing the following information for those who wish to consider it:
U.S. residents are entitled under U.S. law to one free credit report annually from each of the three major credit bureaus. To order your free credit report, visit www.annualcreditreport.com or call toll-free (877) 322-8228.
We have also provided names and contact information for the three major U.S. credit bureaus below. At no charge, U.S. residents can have these credit bureaus place a “fraud alert†on your file that alerts creditors to take additional steps to verify your identity prior to granting credit in your name. This service can make it more difficult for someone to get credit in your name. Note, however, that because it tells creditors to follow certain procedures to protect you, it also may delay your ability to obtain credit while the agency verifies your identity. As soon as one credit bureau confirms your fraud alert, the others are notified to place fraud alerts on your file. Should you wish to place a fraud alert, or should you have any questions regarding your credit report, please contact any one of the agencies listed below.

You may wish to visit the web site of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission at www.consumer.gov/idtheft or reach the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 or 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20580 for further information about how to protect yourself from identity theft. Your state Attorney General may also have advice on preventing identity theft, and you should report instances of known or suspected identity theft to law enforcement, your State Attorney General, and the FTC. For North Carolina residents, the Attorney General can be contacted at 9001 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-9001; telephone (877) 566-7226; or www.ncdoj.gov. Storing financial or account information (i.e. passwords) in plane text is inexcusable. Passwords should be hashed, credit cards should be encrypted. Arg this annoys me.
Only time will tell what will happen, but I strongly urge everyone with a PSN account to do a password change. If you've purchased anything using a credit card on PSN, you may want to closely watch your credit report over the next year. Sorry to spam the front page, but you all need to know about this.

As of Today, TDB officially has a Minecraft server. Head on over to the Minecraft Server forum for details on how to connect!
The server is a 20 person Minecraft server. You can feel free to be creative, roam the world, go on adventures, and partake in the joys of Minecraft.
The server has Bukkit enabled and we will be adding new Plugins as our minecraft community wants them.
The server is not a public Minecraft server,it's intention is for TDB members and friends of TDB members.
I started running this server about 6 months ago, and a few members of TDB have asked for details about joining it. This server used to go under the title of 24/7 Snake's Mincraft Server, but has since been renamed to TDB's Minecraft server with the majority of people playing on it being TDB players.
I still have friends (and friends of friends) who play on it, as do the original populators of Minecraft. So don't be alarmed when you see non-TDBers in there. I welcome you to invite your trusted friends, but if any of them break the rules they will be banned.
There are currently 4 admins on the server: SnakeG (myself), Sc0rch, Lister371 (Kyron), Bntly (a non-tdb member who has been with the server since Day 1).
Feel free to ask the Admins for help and assistance. But know that asking for items is cheating. And if they decline, please don't bug them.
You can find more information, and connection details here.
The Devil's Brigade has officially gone Battlefield: Bad Company 2! TDB now has a new 32 player 24/7 Hardcore Rush!
Some quick statistics:
- The server was setup yesterday
- It has been full for almost the last 24 hours
- It's a 32 player 24/7 Hardcore Rush
- It has GameMe stats
- IT'S BC2 OMG!
Search for us in the server browser using the term: TDB
As always, see you on the battlefield!
